Successful debut: OAS at Light + Building
image OAS participated as an exhibitor at the Light + Building for the first time this past October. From October 2-6, our team of experts presented their own solutions for the digitalization of technical building equipment. At the Marketplace OPEN BUILDING AUTOMATION in hall 9.0 at booth D20 everything was about smart buildings and the networking of building services.

2023 Training Program: OAS offers new dates and updated content for Niagara 4 TCP trainings
image OAS is the certified provider of Niagara 4 TCP trainings in German language. In 2023, we are offering a new series of updated trainings on the Niagara 4 Technical Certification Program (TCP). Our 2023 TCP training schedule initially includes three dates:

- Feb 06 – 10, 2023
- Jun 12 – 16, 2023
- Oct 16 – 20, 2023

Further individual trainings, also in English, will take place upon request. Successful participation entitles one to registration as a Niagara System Integrator. The trainings are conducted by Sergej Vizgalov, our expert for Niagara 4 TCP trainings.

OAS Niagara plant macros: Save costs when engineering and commissioning
image The new plant macros "OAS-MACs" are ready-to-use with Niagara 4-based software modules. They are used, for example, for the automation of ventilation systems. The collection of OAS-MACs is used in building services’ applications with Niagara 4 controllers, such as the JACE®-8000. It is available for OAS partners after an extensive training.

OAS Graphic Library: Standardized graphics for working with the Niagara Workbench
image OAS partners and users use the OAS Graphic Library to rationally create standardized and complex graphics of energy and building management systems. Working with OAS Supervisor Utilities within Niagara Workbench becomes even more effective with the "Graphic Library". The library provides widgets with a modern user interface for selecting functions and properties.

BMS project engineering in the cloud: OAS Supervisor Utilities supports import of BMS graphics.
image The OAS System Configurator can be used to create BMS graphics for visualization of the Building Management System in the cloud. Within our OAS portal solution, OAS partners have access to the System Configurator. There they can project any BMS plant graphics via their browser. These are imported into the Niagara BMS Supervisor solution via the OAS Supervisor Utilities.

image The photo of the OAS case study on the MAIN TOWER made it to the cover of the latest BACnet Europe Journal. The study describes how OAS used BACnet and the Niagara Framework® to set the cornerstone for the planning of a building operation system MAIN TOWER in Frankfurt, Germany. It focuses on the planning of a service-neutral building automation ethernet and the concept of the BACnet-enabled Building Operation System.

OAS endorses BACnet protocol: Networking with the BACnet Interest Group (BIG-EU)
image For OAS, the fall meetings of the BACnet Interest Group (BIG-EU) were all about networking with the attending vendors and users. For the first time, OAS participated as a new member of the BACnet Interest Group (BIG-EU) at the general meeting in Frankfurt am Main on October 11. OAS was also represented in the Marketing Working Group and the Facility Management Working Group and contributed to the broader application of the BACnet protocol.

NIAGARA 4.12: New functions available
