OAS Open AutomationSystems is now qualified as a new Niagara training partner. This gives the Niagara technology for open building automation a new, stronger foothold in the DACH region. After completing the Train-The-Trainer program and investing in equipment, OAS is now authorized to offer "Technical Certification Training Sessions" on the application of Niagara 4. Users can register as official Niagara system integrators after successful completion of the program.
Planners, system integrators, building operators and industrial users will now have a new contact point for Niagara training close at hand. Further advantages of the personal face-to-face training sessions of OAS are the exchange of experiences and great practical know-how. At the end of the course and passing the exam, OAS awards the Tridium original certificate.

The Favoriteschule Kuppenheim, located 5 km east of Rastatt, is a typical school complex, where the OAS "Smart Room System" is used in addition to other OAS Smart Building Solutions (SBS). The elementary and vocational school with 465 students is being comprehensively modernized and equipped with state-of-the-art HVAC technology. With OAS components based on the Niagara Framework, the room and building automation will be realized in the main complex as well as in the gymnasium.

With the "OAS BACnet Utilities", OAS has developed an efficient way to migrate existing systems in which Honeywell controllers with C-Bus communication are installed. Whereas it was previously necessary to replace all existing automation components in order to upgrade the BMS, the "OAS BACnet Utilities" now enable migration via BACnet. This means that the C-BUS systems can continue to be used. Based on the Niagara Framework®, OAS offers flexible solutions for the progressive digitalization of building technology in refurbishment projects.
